Crane at rest with lotus  - Light green semi-translucent jade with occlusions, calcification and spots of suffusion.Â
- Bottom of bird is dished and irregular - probably a pebble jade.
- Cf. Zhongguo Yuqi Quanji, vol. 2, p 466 for a similar bird (and pose) attributed to the Liao period.
