Blade 14

 Jade three hole knife

  • Cream colored opaque jade with reddish suffusion, pockets of calcification, and fissures.
  • 'Saw' marks from cutting the slab are clearly visible on one side - there are 5 groups cut at wildly different angles. This was not done on a lapidary machine.
  • Holes were drilled from both sides.
  • The style is neolithic, but the period unknown.
  •  10.91 x 4.96 x 1.4 cm.
