Black jade with much pitting and some fibrous conversion.

Blade decorated with beast face, bird, and script - all done with incised lines.

Blade is flat on the back.

Very hard to photograph - surface reflection quite high.

This style of blade was supposedly used as a token of position or fealty in Zhou period.
