Man with Rice and holding Animal Head - Mostly opaque green jade with brown oily residue on surface, some calcification in all the recesses and grooves
- Carving is well-worn, and very smooth - this has been handled and/or worn a lot
- The idea of the 'lantern in the shape of an animal' comes from a jade book which describes a somewhat similar setup; it is not an exactly convincing interpretation here, but the best I can offer at this point
- There is a small suspension hole near the top of the head
