Long crouching dragon with stylus tail - Light green jade with reddish cast and black occlusions.
- Skin of jade is quite pickled but otherwise in good condition; one surface is calcified.
- Decoration consists of incised lines in scrolls and cross-hatching.
- The body is nicely modelled toward the edges as are other relieved features (such as the edges of the feet).
- The long pointed tail suggests this piece might have been used as a stylus to prick holes. It lies in the hand quite comfortably.
- 13.5 x 2.93 x .62 cm.
