Huang 6

 Huang with three dragons
  • Light green jade altered to opaque rose color in places with pitting and calcification.
  • The center field contains a beast head and scrolls in relief.
  • There is a dragon head on one end of the huang and a crouching dragon on the other; the crouching dragon is missing a piece (perhaps part of the mane?).
  • Under the central arc lies an inverted dragon stretched along the bottom of the arc.
  • With the substantial open work, probably very late Zhou or Han style.
  •  14.97 x 4.29 x .65 cm.
