Dragon with horn and gaping mouth - Milky, semi-translucent jade with fern like occlusions; red suffusion and surface erosion also evident.
- Pose is dramatic and vivid: mouth open, lolling tongue, gaping teeth and sharp 'unicorn' horn on top of head.
- Coloring is beautiful reddish brown; areas of deepest color are somewhat deteriorated.
- On one side of carving tail appears to end in another head - at least a pair of 'eyes' are apparent.
- Carving has been aggressively cleaned in some areas - probably covered by brownish skin when found.
- Fanciful Ming or Qing jade.
- 13.9 x 7.1 x 1.7cm
