- Carving very difficult to photograph - relief almost invisible unless seen in reflected light.
- Mysterious projection from chest to folded knees - perhaps "qi" force.
- The "qi" projection carefully worked - area between the edges recessed by abrasion.
- This pose similar to other semi human carvings which might generally be characterized as "images of transformation" or rebirth.
- Surface polish appears to be original matte sheen; some light pitting and calcification is evident.
