Tripartite Bi disc with beast face - Light green, somewhat occluded jade with much pitting and calcification; very light reddish tint evident in spots
- The three segments fit together quite well, but they are not exactly the same in thickness
- These pieces have been extensively cleaned to remove calcification and polish the high points
- Unsure whether this is a bi disk, or 3 huangs meant to be hung one over the other in an elaborate pectoral; perhaps either use was acceptible
- Sung style seems defensible, but close inspection of the calcification in the recesses suggests a much later date
